getting ready for the trip!

Well, here I am feeling restless and adventurous. I have wanted to see more of the United States, and now that I have extra time on my hands I am going to do just that. I want to meet people from all over, smell fresh air and grass, even the trash. Whatever it takes to discover America. There is a lot of preparation required for this trip, so I need to get started.

Right now I am in New York. I need to find the right kind of transportation to get me, well…everywhere. I think a pick up truck with a well-equipped camper on top will do the trick. It will be easy to handle, have a bed, tools, water, butane stove, emergency food, heater, chemical toilet, and refrigerator. Oh, the windows must be screened, too, to keep the bugs out. I guess I should take fishing rods and supplies in case I decide to stop somewhere near a stream, and a friend suggested I take a shotgun and rifle for my safety. I guess I could run into someone unpleasant and a little too curious. I  also need to figure out how much clothes to take, and pack pillows blankets. I am realizing the list is endless, but not the space in my little camper house.
